A mains fed water cooler might become a very common sight in restaurants. There are some places already that have switched to that idea and offer their customers this kind of water in their place of business. We have learned recently that a restaurant in Australia started charging its customers $5 per tap water. This restaurant has installed a $6000 filter system. If you do not have this kind of money to get a system like this, we have an idea. Why not try a water cooler in your restaurant or little cafe? Most of the coolers we have a great capacity of water, and can produce litres and litres of chilled or hot water per hour. This water is also filtered and there is a constant water flow. You will never run out of it, because it will be switched in the mainstream. Just think how much money you will save. You do not have to order bottles and bottles of water any more. The water from the cooler will be of the same quality – filtered, chilled and with a great taste. You do not have to look for a place to store all these pallets with bottles anymore. Not to mention that you will not have to keep any bottles refrigerated anymore. No piles of empty bottles and therefore lesser carbon footprint. And you can even make money with that little investment. You can start charging your customers for their tap water, because the mains fed water cooler water is as good as any bottled water.
